Founded in 2016, Infra.Market is India’s largest on-demand construction materials marketplace. Using an asset-light model, it sources products from SME suppliers and sells through multiple distribution channels including B2B (infrastructure and construction contractors), B2B2C (retail stores) and Exports. Infra.Market aims to be a one-stop shop for multiple products and has over 200 SKUs (including from its own private label) across categories like concrete, cement, chemicals, steels and electricals. It aims to solve some of the structural issues with the construction materials market in India like SME manufacturers’ facing low-capacity utilization due to seasonality of demand and contractors facing highly irregular supply, inconsistent quality from a fragmented vendor base.
