Founded in 2019, WeRize is a full-stack phygital FinTech company which provides unsecured lending and insurance offerings to middle-class families with net in-hand salary in the range of INR 12,000-25,000 per month and low or no formal credit history. These families are spread across 4,000+ tier-2 to tier-4 cities and towns in India, which have been largely under-served by private banks and fintech companies. The company serves 25 states and 525+ districts in tier-2 to tier-4 cities, as of FY23.
